Happy Halloween!

Hey. I always enjoyed creating Halloween-themed cartoons for the SigNews newspaper (Sadly, that monthly signing community newspaper has been closed since last April.).  Today, I wish you a Happy Halloween. Go get some good sweet candies and enjoy these cartoons below.

Happy Halloween. Peace out.

Summer Beach

Don't we love to go to beaches during summer time, right? A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I went to Surfside Beach in Texas. Lovely, quiet, small beach—an excellent place for a family to stop by and to chill out for a few hours. If you in Houston area and need to escape to a quiet place, go to Surfside Beach.

Here is a cartoon I created for SigNews last summer. By the way, that newspaper for the Deaf/ASL community has been sadly & quietly closed. I miss receiving a copy every month for several years.

Deaf-Blind

I don't think I ever posted a cartoon about Deaf-Blind characters. So I thought I should do this. To read about Deaf-Blindness, please check out this link from Wikipedia. Helen Keller is one of the most prominent Deaf-Blind people. Also check out another link about the Deaf-Blind community. Enjoy this blog.

Long Time, No Blog!

Hey. What's up? Sorry for the long silence. I know I have not posted anything for over 1 year. I had other things to focus on. Now I am back and really want to keep blogging about cartoons, illustrations, and pieces of artwork I or anyone else makes. Yes true biz - promise - I keep you posted. Enjoy your week.

Black History Month Cartoon

While I embrace anyone of any race, gender, belief, class, or sexual preference daily—every February I celebrate Black History Month by proudly reading, learning, talking, and thinking about African Americans’ cultural backgrounds and respectable achievements. Today, I was thinking of a cartoon that I created related to deaf black people. Here is a humorous (probably a little funny) art that a friend of mine asked me to do for a publication of one of chapters under National Black Deaf Advocates.

I sold an ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) of Martin Luther King, Jr. signing “dream” in ebay.com 2 years ago. Great timing to post this!

Thanks for checking out this blog.

Mafia VRS

I was looking through old cartoons to possibly post one of them in my blog, and I saw that particular cartoon. It immediately reminded me of a big news that happened recently. FBI’s biggest mafia bust ever! Here is the fictional cartoon about mafia and VRS. Enjoy this!

Merry Christmas

Hey. Are you having fun today for Christmas? I am just chilling out at home with a merry spirit. I was thinking of the Birth of Jesus Christ. It’s a wonderful feeling.

I made X-mas greeting cards with a cartoon and mailed them out to my family, relatives, and friends. It was for fun. I thought you might like to see this cartoon posted here. Those characters are my pets—(from bottom to top) Snicker, Sneaky, Amazing, & King. I love them.

Thanks for checking out my blog. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Mummy & a Pen Cartoon

I am back!

I know it has been 1 year since the last time I posted anything on my blog. This time I decided to post a cartoon because I like the feeling of having a Halloween spirit! Here is another Halloween cartoon.

Vampire Pager Cartoon

Hey. What’s up?

I know I have not posted a cartoon for a while. But now here is one. You know, October is a spooky month. Some people like to hear or watch horror stories and see some creepy visual arts. Well, this cartoon probably does not scare you at all. But I hope it makes you smile, chuckle, or laugh. Let’s have a Halloween spirit! Booo!

Deafless Cartoon

Wow! What a big controversy! People in the Deaf video network community - especially the Deafvideo website - have been talking about a startling video made by theHolism. TheHolism described himself as "deafless". What?? A new term invented by himself. People love to agree and disagree with him. All the sudden, people are starting to make their videos to discuss "Deafless". And some of them even talk about it in the Visual Video website. What's up with that?? Instead of making a vlog about Deafless, I drew a cartoon with 2 characters for fun. Ken X is one of the characters.

Enjoy the cartoon. Peace out.

Interpreting Zebra Cartoon

I am an animal lover. Currently, I take care of 2 cats. I used to have a variety of pets—hamsters, salamanders, lizards, turtles, snakes, frogs/toads, dog (My father was the master; I lived under his roof.), and fish. They were a part of my childhood. I usually went out into a wilderness and confronted animals. Yes, it had to do with my deafness simply because I didn't hang out with hearing children much (No hard feeling. I had a few hearing friends, though). My love for animals naturally led me to draw more pictures of them. There is another reason why I love drawing cartoons with animal characters—less burden on deciding what race I should pick for human characters. I let you interpret cartoony animals as human beings whatever. Peace.
