Hey. I know some people are tired of Cochlear Implant issues. But this is the only cochlear implant cartoon I have in many years. I kept seeing my original one in my flat file almost every time I looked for a collection of artwork. I couldn't help but find the picture of ants fascinating. I wanted to get it over with by posting that cartoon in my blog so I could move on with other cartoons regarding different deaf-related themes. Better now than later.

Happy Easter & Sign 4 Jesus
Hey. I hope you have a good Happy Easter. I have decided that I will go to church tomorrow morning. I believe that I will feel better afterwards with a good spirit from God. Recently I did a quick sketch of the sign for Jesus. I did it for about 15 minutes. Took a photo of my hands signing “Jesus”. Drew the picture while I was studying the photo print.
Read it here if you are interested. I wanted to share the word of God with you. Easter is a special day because it is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins on the cross on Good Friday. Jesus was buried on that day and rose from death on Sunday. Tomorrow I will join people at church to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.

St. Patrick's Day Greetings
Hey. I wanted to say Happy St. Patrick’s Day to people. I decided to create a greeting cartoon for my blog at the last minute—the night before St. Patrick’s Day. I started with rough sketches, drawing a picture of a bear holding a mug and signing “Beer”. But I wanted to add a character that said something related to St. Patrick’s Day. I sketched a female Leprechaun character signing “Kiss me, I’m Irish”. Nah, more work for a little time, so I dumped her. I looked back at the bear with the mug. The idea of the sign “beer” bothered me a little. Kind of not appropriate. That greeting is for anyone, including kids. That idea was thrown out. But after studying the sketches quickly, I made another draft of the same bear only with the same sign originally used for that (sexy) Leprechaun character. Not bad. I did the final cartoon above.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Celebrate responsibly.
